Bannari Amman Group ventured into manufacturing of Cotton
yarn in 1989 near Dindigul and earned reputation in domestic
and international market a short span of time. With 40000
spindles capacity in Unit I the mill produces around 20 tons
of cotton yarn per day.
The company established its second spinning unit in 2009 near Coimbatore
with an installed capacity of 50000 spindles and produces around 30 tons of
cotton yarn per day.
Besides yarn the company produces around 12 tons of grey knitted fabric by
installing 33 nos. of circular knitting machinery.
The second spinning mill is equipped with the state of art spinning machinery
like blowroom ; carding from Truetzchler Germany, comber ; drawframe from Rieter
Switzerland, Ring Frame with autodoffer from LMW India, Linkconer from Muratae
Japan and Testing equipments from Uster Switzerland.
Both the Spinning Mills specialize in production of 100% cotton yarn for knitting
and currently manufacture major counts between Ne 20/1 to 40/1. Strong brand image
is established in major knitting centres like Tiruppur, Kolkatta, Kanpur and around 25%
of the production is exported to Far East European countries.
The Wind Mill Division of the company has 76 Wind Mills with an installed capacity of
23.045 MW of Wind Power.
The Knitting Division near Coimbatore has been established to produce knitted fabric in
April 09.
The company has established a unit for manufacture of knitted garments with a capacity to
3 lakhs per annum, near Coimbatore under the name YESWE GARMENTS.
