manufacturing
of
Cotton
yarn
in 1989
near
Dindigul
and
earned
reputation
in
domestic
and
international
market
within
a
short
span
of
time.
With
40000
spindles
capacity
in
Unit
I
the
mill
produces
around
20
tons
of
cotton
yarn
per
day.
The Textile
Mills has
produced
6144 Tons
of yarn and
sold 7065 tons
during the
year 2008-09
The company
established
its second
unit
spinning
mill in 2009
near
Coimbatore
with an
installed
capacity of
50000
spindles and
produces
around 30
tons of
cotton yarn
per day.
Besides yarn
the company
produces
around 12
tons of grey
knitted
fabric by
installing
33 nos. of
circular
knitting
machinery.
The second
spinning
mill is
equipped
with the
state of art
spinning
machinery
like
blowroom &
carding from
Truetzchler
Germany,
comber &
drawframe
from Rieter
Switzerland,
Ring Frame
with
autodoffer
from LMW
India,
Linkconer
from Muratae
Japan and
Testing
equipments
from Uster
Switzerland.
Both the
Spinning
Mills
specialize
in
production
of 100%
cotton yarn
for knitting
and
currently
manufacture
major counts
between Ne
20/1 to
40/1. Strong
brand image
is
established
in major
knitting
centres like
Tiruppur,
kolkatta &
Kanpur and
around 25%
of the
production
is exported
to Far East
& European
countries.
The Wind
Mill
Division has
produced 165.99
lakh units
in the
year 2008-09.
The new
Knitting
Division
near
Palladam to
produce
knitted
fabric, has
commenced
operations
in April 09.
A project
for
manufacture
of knitted
garments is
being set up
near Palladam.
