Dr.M.Sivakumar has presented a paper on
"Diversified Utility of Indian Non-mulberry
Silk for the Production of Knitted Fabrics
for Apparel and Non-apparel Purposes"
at the International Sericulture Congress
held at Bangkok, Thailand from21-25 September
2002.
Books / Monographs
Dr.R.V.M. Gowda has co-authored a Monograph
on "Friction Spinning", Vol.33, No.2,
published by the Textile Institute International,
Manchester, U.K., 1993. Dr.R.V.M. Gowda
has also authored a book on "New Spinning
Systems", published by the NCUTE, IIT
Delhi.

department has been offering fibre, yarn,
and fabric testing services to the nearby
Textile Mills.
